Today is December 4, 2005.  As you can see, I haven't written in awhile.  The devil won again.  But I also let my disease be in control and I did not try to rise above and go beyond my limitations.  I will try not to let that happen again.  Please forgive me.

God is a wonderful friend.  Actually, He is the best friend we could ever have.  There is no one on this earth who is a better friend than He.  And the day of His Son's birth is fast approaching.  Do you ever think that you are done with your Christmas shopping?  Do you think that you need to get someone something else?  Have you ever given someone a Bible for Christmas?  To know Jesus was born so that one day He would die for our sins so we would have everlasting life, is the best gift we could give someone who does not have it.  Think about it.  How are they ever going to know about the best thing we can have in life if you don't say something to them.  Don't neglect your duty.  Do right by God as He has done by you.

Do you ever let go of the ways of the world?  Have you ever tried to do what you had to do in a way that wasn't done by everyone else in the world?  I have a lot of questions, but that's because I want you to bring the answers to your mind.  I have finally found the answer that satisfies my mind about the "Jesus heals" issue.  Look at Matthew 9: 1-2:

Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.  Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat.  When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."

What the Life Application Bible says for these two verses is as follows:

Among the first words Jesus said to the paralyzed man were, "Your sins are forgiven."  Then he healed the man.  We must be careful not to concedntrate on God's power to heal physical sickness more than on his power to forgive spiritual sickness in the form of sin.  Jesus saw that efen more than physical health, this man needed spiritual health.  Spiritual health comes only from Jesus' healing touch.

Both the man's body and his spirit were paralyzed - he could not walk, and he did not know Jesus.  But the man's spiritual state was Jesus' first concern.  If God does not heal us or comeone we love, we need to remember that physical healing is not Christ's only concern.  We wll all be completely healed in Christ's coming kingdom; but first we have to come to know Jesus.

There is nothing I can add to this that can make it any clearer.  I am not healed yet because it is not my time.  It was more important that my soul be healed than my physical body.  I will be honest and tell you that I had originally hoped that was not what the bible meant when it referred to healing.  But I am glad I was healed there first and am continuing to be healed there.  My physical disadvantages are not keeping me from doing what I do for God, so I go on.  I care more that my sins are forgiven and my soul is cleansed than the fact that I cannot dance.  That will happen when I am dancing in heaven.  What glorious joy I will experience then!  God bless all of you.  Pray for healing of your soul first and foremost.  The rest will come after.

On November 26, 2004, I had the first book signing for my book, God is my "Fix", at Buehlers in Medina/River Styx branch on Rt 18.  I didn't sell many books that day, but the store was not that busy for the day after Thanksgiving.  Surprising.  But I hope to keep the book available there for as long as possible.  A very family-like atmosphere is maintained at Buehlers.  We feel they take very good care of us there.  See their link in the links page.  The manager is Dave Denney.

   I have 2 other books currently in the works, too.  One is focusing a great deal on multiple sclerosis and the effects it has had on me, and how I get along in spite of the problems I now face.  As you might expect me to say, I don't do it alone.  But I can't leave the efforts and assistance I receive from my husband, my at-home daughter, and my family out of the picture and unappreciated either. 

The other book is a book about cats.  I have 10 examples to document, and I have lots of things to say about them.  They are a great inspiration and enjoyment for me.  Their names are Liza, Duster, Clarissa, Lizbeth, Natasha, Molly, Oscar, Chloe, Felix and Cody.  We don't name our cats "kitty" names.  They are persons themselves.  They each have a different personality.  I have some tales to tell you.

Before I forget everything about my former employment in the real estate title industry, I have written a manual about preparation of commitments and policies and judicials and endorsements.  It is general knowledge, not specifically groomed for any one company, and it can of course be amended to incorporate specific company policies.  It is a very nice book to have on hand for training and teaching.  I have heard from an uninformed source that it was very easy to follow and easy to understand and work from. 

I do not like the fact that this disease is slowly taking everything I hold dear to me from me, but what are you going to do.  There's no use getting upset about it.  You can do nothing to change it or stop it.  So you try to make things a little easier on yourself at that moment.  I do what I can do to get along, and I keep in mind Philippians 4: 13 at all times.

  Why the chili peppers?  It is the decor of my kitchen.  They have alot of character, and I love the colors of red and green.  I'm not an apple person.  I love to cook food with flavor.  I may even have recipes in here someday.   

If you have stumbled on this website by accident, then let me tell you what it's all about.  I have written a book, and I intend to write others. This website is created to tell you about this book and anything else I have in the process.  This is my thing.  I love to write.  I can't do it for long each day, but God willing, I will be able to do it every day.  Writing is not a profitable pasttime, but it's all I know how to do.  It's something I can do sitting at my desk, getting inspiration from everything outside my door.  I don't have the energy to do much else. 

I've got to get working on the rest of the site.  This is all new to me, so I've got a lot to learn as I go.  God bless you all.  Check back often as I make changes all the time.  You never know when you will see something new.
